COME TO ME

Said Jesus in Mark 10:14. It would seem He wants them to know Him. Is that still the case today? How many children on your block know Jesus? They may know His name but nothing about Him. Yet He says, “Let them come to Me.” How do we do that? Sunday school may be one way you learnt about Jesus when you were younger but sadly, it’s not so much these days. My mom taught me about Jesus. As a family we went to mass at Christmas and Easter but not much more. I am grateful to have been taught about Him. That through him I have life everlasting. Not because I deserve it but because of His amazing love for me and all people.

If you think it’s important that children, still come to Jesus to learn about Him and know what it is that He did for them please tell them! If that’s not your thing, then bring them to a Church that does. My heart burdens for the children that know not our beautiful Savior. For their spiritual welfare and for their God given purpose in this world. He is the light of the world, the way the truth and the life and He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. (John 8:12, 14:6, 10:10) He formed us in our mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5) and He does not make mistakes. Every child is meant to be here. They are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14) Could this be why Jesus wants the children to come to Him? To lavish His love upon them and cover them with blessings.

If you want to let the children come to Jesus as he says then talk to me and I will help you figure out the best way to do it. It’s why our ministry exists. Pray for our children to know Jesus. It is our job to tell them. Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth…I will utter [b]dark sayings of old… our fathers have told us.  We will not hide them from their children. Telling the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. Call 204-663-3300
