Living Earth

Being outside in nature always makes me feel closer to God. There is something about the tranquility of the living earth that speaks to my spirit. Though it may appear to be still to look at I know it is anything but. The forces of the heavens flow as the trees grow, flowers bloom the clouds move and the snow falls. A glimpse of our Creator we see in all that He has created, and His presence can be felt all around. In the shining of a midnight star to the cooing of a morning dove. As the world gently spins, I am quieted by its stillness. Every moment of the day we take in a new view as the Master artist quietly changes his illustration and no matter where you look around the globe His painting can be seen. Though it speaks no words it tells a mighty story. As Psalm 19:3 explains, there is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.

In this time of uncertainty, stop and enjoy your surroundings. Breath in a fresh breath of air as you take in the sights around you. Enjoy the presence of our Maker. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you, says James 4:8 Let Him search your heart and make you clean. Recognize the need for a Savior then receive the gift of new life that only God can bring.
